Rhys has 20 years of experience in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and economic and community development. Having led a corporate services team overseeing governance, legal services, Welsh language matters, and internal audit, he stepped out of his comfort zone to establish Ateb. A strategic thinker with an eye for detail, he advises on Welsh language strategy and compliance. A Bangor University graduate with a postgraduate qualification in Town and Country Planning, he chairs Antur Waunfawr and is a Glas Cymru Board Member. Passionate about high-quality services, he’s a self-proclaimed language standards geek known for his quick thinking and talkative nature.
