Marged joined the team as a Language Consultant in January 2026. She has over five years of experience in policy and external affairs, specifically within health regulation. Marged successfully led on preparing and implementing the Welsh Language Standards within a complex four-country organisation. Marged enjoys delving into the standards to implement them sustainably, and in ways that add value. Marged has experience of effectively communicating the standards, building strong and productive working relationships, and providing expert advice adapted to the needs of different clients. As an author and poet in her spare time, Marged enjoys playing and experimenting with language. Outside of work, Marged enjoys walking, wild swimming, reading and putting the world to rights with Llyfrau Lliwgar.
